Welcome to the New Forest Christian Camp
Welcome to our new Website. Here you will find all the information you will need to ensure that your next summer holiday at the Christian Camp is one of the best you’ve ever had.The New Forest Christian Camp (NFCC) is a week in which young people (ages 10-18) embark on a wide variety of exciting games such as volley ball to creating a play and from frisbee football to the vastly popular tape game. The boys and girls are separated into tents of number 6-8, of which there are 5 boys tents and 5 girls tents. Throughout the week they are competing against each other to be crowned the winning tent. A spectacular prize will be awarded to the winning boys and the winning girls tent on the final morning.
We are based in a picturesque part of the New Forest National Park known as Ogdens. There are two fields, one for the canvas and one for all sorts of games. The site contains a fully fitted kitchen from which three lovely meals (or 6 if you like seconds!) are served from. Furthermore there are new and improved showering facilities for cleaning of the day’s mud and the all important toilet block.
In order to break up the fun during the week we also spend two morning trips at the superb New Forest Water Sports Centre. Everyone enjoys getting thrown around from a banana or skimming the water on a doughnut ride for a morning before returning back to the camp.
We also two excursions one to the town and beach that Bournemouth has to offer, the other is either a trip to the local Splash Down water flume park or a afternoon of shopping and crabbing in Poole. On all trips off the site children under 13 years of age are supervised by a responsible adult, those over 13 are required to be in a group of no less than 3.
Along with all these activities we as a camp aim to teach these young people about what it is to be a Christian is with a themed set of evening meetings and morning tent quiet times.
